WHERE I’VE WORKED

Systems Engineer – Technical Lead
RTX Corporation

Jun. 2022 – Current

  • Designing, developing, and testing MATLAB Flight Operations Support (FOS) tools for diagnostics, archiving, and statistical analysis of telemetry and memory dumps, corresponding graphical user interfaces, and centralized software utilities for the Next-Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared (NG-OPIR) satellite telescope constellation

  • Proactively refactoring project architecture and developing core binary telemetry data parsing utility with backwards and forwards compatibility in anticipation of future tool failure due to flight software updates resulting in changes to binary telemetry data bitmapping and FOS tools’ previous failure to account for software updates throughout the lifetime of the satellite and when parsing archived data from multiple software versions

  • Creating software maintenance plan for the above mentioned architecture to support forwards compatibility with future flight software updates by consulting subject matter experts and coordinating cross-team collaboration regarding exchanging software utility, bit mapping, and telemetry metadata database updates

  • Providing consultation for other teams within the project seeking to utilize my software utilities including my utility for converting binary telemetry data file formats and my utility for hash checking files to verify file integrity
